This notice explains how information is handled through the Lares website and initial quote-request process.
Who handles your information
Joshua R. Castillo operates Lares Insurance Services as a sole proprietorship under a California Department of Insurance-approved business name. Joshua is the only person within the agency authorized to review website inquiries and uploaded documents. Service providers process information as described below.
Information you provide
We collect the name, email address, optional phone number, language preference, California ZIP code, coverage interests, and business or personal insurance details you enter in the quote form. We also collect documents you choose to upload. Email and phone inquiries provide the information you share through those channels.
Why we collect it
Lares uses this information to respond, understand your needs, request relevant follow-up information, explore appropriate insurance options and help with placement when requested. We use inquiry contact details to respond to your request, not to enroll you in promotional email or text campaigns. We do not sell leads. We do not request Social Security numbers, payment details or medical records in this early quote flow. Please remove sensitive information from documents before uploading.
Service providers and other recipients
The website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting, access controls, request processing, database storage and private file storage. Resend delivers internal quote alerts containing a request reference and a sign-in-protected review link; these alerts do not include your form answers or uploaded files. Google Workspace processes business email, including correspondence you send us and these alerts. Telephone providers process communications made through their services. Relevant information may be provided to insurers, underwriting providers or authorized insurance intermediaries as needed to evaluate or place requested coverage. The form does not automatically transmit your application to insurance markets. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
The site code does not include advertising pixels, session replay, marketing analytics or cross-site tracking. It does not sell information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising through this website. Hosting and sign-in services may process IP addresses, device/request information and necessary cookies for delivery, security and access. Unsubmitted form answers stay in page memory and are not saved to browser storage.
California tracking disclosures
The site does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals because it does not implement cross-site tracking, sale of personal information or behavioral-advertising sharing. No advertising or analytics third party has been added to track your activity across unrelated websites. Infrastructure providers process technical information to operate their services.
Retention
Quote requests and uploaded files do not expire automatically. They remain stored until removed by Lares. Retention decisions must take account of the purpose of the request and applicable insurance, legal and recordkeeping obligations. Contact Lares about the retention or deletion of your information. Short-lived abuse-prevention records use a hashed network identifier and expire after their request window; expired records are removed during subsequent form activity.
Security
Hosted forms transmit information over HTTPS. Submissions are stored server-side. Request review and document downloads require an authorized administrator sign-in. Uploads have type and size restrictions, and submissions are validated and rate-limited. These safeguards reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. Do not use this form to send highly sensitive identifiers or urgent claim reports.
Review, corrections and privacy questions
To ask about your information or request access, correction or deletion, email info@laresquote.com or call (858) 609-7070. Lares may need to verify your identity. Some information may need to be retained to meet applicable obligations. You can choose not to use the form and contact Lares directly. We handle requests in accordance with applicable privacy and insurance laws. Information cannot be deleted where its retention is legally required.
Changes to this notice
Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes affecting information already collected will be addressed as required by applicable law. Review this page before providing additional information.
